Alessandro Botti
"Alessandro Botti was born in Milan in 1970. In the early nineties he attended the School of Advertising Graphics at the Dardi professional institute in Milan and subsequently obtained the Diploma in Illustration and Comics at the Institute of Art applied to Industry of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan.
His works are influenced by the mix of comics and fantasy films of the eighties and nineties (Star Wars, Alien, Blade runner) and the passion for informal art (some painters he admires with passion are - Emilio Scanavino - Alberto Burri - Pinot Gallizio). His works are a mix between the surreal figurative with references to his passions for science fiction and informal painting. From this union, the paintings are created with various mixed techniques characterized by brush strokes and overlapping layers, using various materials such as oil colors, acrylics, pencils. Plastic inserts created with Vinavil are used to weave the surface of the image and make it embossed and pulsating. Sometimes small sculptures of figures emerge from the canvas, animating the composition. An important part of the painting is composed of a series of collages of layered drawings made with ink pens, creatures and agglomerates of a science fiction matrix, assembled to recreate dream worlds with signs and methods in the interior and universal chaos from which he draws for his creations.

Dreaming of being alone and disoriented reflects a situation that you often experience in everyday life.
Loneliness in dreams reflects feelings of isolation or exclusion in real life. This type of dream could emerge in periods in which you feel left behind or forgotten by others, or when you are going through a period of introspection and feel the need to detach yourself from the surrounding reality to reflect, to seek space to develop your individuality or to devote yourself to personal interests away from the distractions of everyday life."
